MCD-600B is a walk-through metal detector (Walk Through Metal Detector) developed and manufactured by MCD, applying eddy current and electromagnetic induction principles, metal identification and classification technology, and magnetic field transformation. The system consists of a detection gate, excitation signal generation module, eddy current/electromagnetic signal sensor, signal processing control module, data processing module, and remote monitoring system. The gate has 4 detection modes: mobile phone, prohibited items, all-metal, electronics + prohibited items.

Phones in standby, powered off, with battery removed, with SIM removed, or wrapped in 5 layers of copper/tin foil are all detected and trigger alarms
- Prohibited items detection mode: metal buttons, necklaces, lighters, keys, coins, belt buckles, compasses, hair clips, and other small metals as well as phones and electronic products that do not exceed the alarm threshold do not trigger the system alarm; when carrying knives, guns, hand boards, hammers, and other prohibited items through, the system triggers alarms
- All-metal mode: when a person passes through the gate in standard posture, coins, keys, metal buttons, belt buckles, and other small metals as well as prohibited items exceeding the alarm threshold trigger alarms and the system indicates the concealed location of prohibited items
- Electronics + prohibited items mode: combines the advantages of mobile phone detection mode and prohibited items detection mode; metal buttons, necklaces, lighters, keys, coins, belt buckles, compasses, hair clips, and other metals on ordinary clothing as well as phones and other electronic products pass through the system without alarm; when carrying concealed electronic products or concealed prohibited items such as knives, guns, hand boards, hammers through, the system immediately triggers audible and visual alarms, displays graphical and text information, and can indicate the concealed location
