Installation
- Labels on the Net2 Plus controller clearly show color-coded connections for readers, power, etc.
- The device has a volt-free relay that can switch any lock or electrical device
- Can connect exit buttons, door sensors, tamper switches, and alarm devices
- The controller communicates with the PC via the LAN's standard TCP/IP protocol
- The Net2 Plus controller should be assigned a fixed/static IP address
- All device configuration is done using the Net2 Configuration Utility
- Diagnostic LEDs are mounted near the relevant terminals to support error-free installation
- End-of-line resistors can be switched into the circuit as required
- No external terminating resistors are needed
Operation
- Any changes made on the PC are transmitted and stored immediately at the controller
- When a user presents a token to the reader, the controller identifies it and grants or denies access accordingly
