Face outdoor faces 3 issues in Vietnam: (1) factory workers often wear hats + masks → reduce accuracy; (2) harsh midday sunlight → IR sensor saturate; (3) storms and rain → camera blur. Multispectral fingerprint can handle all of these. Common pattern: face indoor (office floor) + fingerprint outdoor (factory).
- Does the database of 500K users slow down?
1:N match <1s for a typical 100K database, ~3s for a full 500K. It is recommended to partition by shift/department to reduce the match scope. BioStar 2 has an automatic database partition mode.
