Suprema BioLite N2 is Suprema's 2nd generation outdoor fingerprint reader, delivering comprehensive access control and time & attendance features based on Suprema's latest biometric technology and security platform. The device uses a 1.2GHz CPU, a MINEX-certified fingerprint sensor, IP65 & IP67 protection rating, multi-frequency RFID reading (LF 125kHz & HF 13.56MHz), and Mobile Access support via BLE and NFC.

- Smartphone communication: with Suprema Mobile Access, a smartphone acts as a credential for access.
- BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy): communication via BLE on Android and iOS, protecting transmitted data with AES encryption.
- NFC (Near Field Communication): communication via NFC HCE on Android. Note that HCE is not available on every Android smartphone; smartphone specifications should be checked, but this feature is widely supported on the latest models. Transmitted data is protected with AES encryption.
- Multi-frequency, multi-smartcard reading: dual-frequency RFID technology, supporting both LF (125kHz) and HF (13.56MHz) including all RFID standards supported by HID multiCLASS readers. In addition to fingerprint credentials, the device supports most RFID card standards on a single device: 125kHz EM, HID Prox & 13.56MHz MIFARE, MIFARE Plus, DESFire/EV1, FeliCa, iCLASS SE/SR, NFC, and 2.4GHz BLE.
- Versatile interfaces: TCP/IP port along with traditional interfaces (RS-485, Wiegand), 2 internal inputs and 1 internal relay output to control peripheral devices; the I/O port can be expanded with the Secure I/O accessory.
