IP65 allows outdoor installation at factory gates, parking gates (other vendors are mostly IP54, indoor only).

- Does FaceLite support recognition when wearing a mask?
Yes. Firmware from 2022 supports masked face mode — only the eyes and nose bridge need to be visible. Accuracy is slightly reduced (FAR 0.001%) compared to full face. Suitable for hospital and food factory environments requiring masks.
- Does it save face images to the cloud?
Not mandatory. FaceLite by default saves **templates** (AI feature vectors, not images) on the local device. Optional sync of captured images to BioStar 2 server for audit — self-hosted server (not cloud). Compliant with Vietnam Decree 13/2023 on personal data protection.
- How long does it take to register a new user?
30-60 seconds/user via FaceLite direct (face capture). Bulk enrollment via BioStar 2 web upload of existing photos (HR database) — 100 users/2-3 minutes. An Ninh Số supports data migration from old KSRV.
